Sleeping Help
Privacy and your choices
Learn how Sleeping Help handles local planner storage, relaxation sounds, optional Google Analytics and normal website hosting requests.
Your bedtime plan
The planner does not ask for a name or contact details. If you save a routine, your wake-up time, hours for rest and wind-down duration are stored in this browser’s local storage. The site’s planner code does not send those details to a server. Remove the saved routine in the planner or clear this site’s browser data.
Relaxation tools
Sounds start only when you press play and are generated on your device. They do not require an external music embed. Sound choices are not saved. Breathing and planning tools remain available if you decline optional analytics.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics remains off until a valid measurement ID is configured, enabled by the owner, and accepted by the visitor. Before acceptance, the website loads no Google analytics tag. Advertising features are disabled by this integration. If you accept, page views and technical device information can be measured; planner entries and sound choices are not included.
Change an analytics choice
When analytics is configured, the footer includes Analytics preferences. You can accept or reject there. Page addresses are sent without query strings or fragments, and referring addresses are reduced to their origin. Google may use analytics cookies after consent. The optional choice expires after 180 days.
Hosting and external sources
The hosting platform processes normal requests to deliver the website. Administrative content, backups and technical SEO reports are protected. Links to research organisations open websites with their own privacy practices. No newsletter or contact form collects personal information on this site.
Optional site analytics
When you accept analytics, this website records pages viewed, referring website domains, campaign tags (source, medium and campaign), approximate country, broad device/browser/language groups, visible active time, scroll depth, page speed and counts of tool actions or external-link clicks. We use random browser identifiers that rotate after 30 days and browser-tab sessions that expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. Raw records are retained for the period set by the owner (90 days by default; up to 365 days). This feature does not store IP addresses, raw user agents, URL query strings or fragments, search terms, form values or planner entries. It records that a tool was used, without the routine times, sound selections or entered information.
Analytics is optional. Rejecting it leaves all tools available. Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to withdraw consent and remove the analytics identifiers from this device. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are respected. The owner can pause collection in the dashboard. Existing records are removed according to retention; withdrawing consent stops future collection.
Google Analytics is a separate optional connection. If the owner enables it and you accept analytics, Google receives limited page and event measurements and may store analytics cookies. Advertising consent remains denied. Hosting services may process normal request metadata to deliver and protect the website.
